Butchering item window

The following windows are used when working with butchering elements:

All of these windows are opened from the Butchering panel data grid.

The editor window is opened by using the Edit command in the context menu. In this window, you can edit one or more butchering elements.

If one item is selected, the Butchering item editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Butchered stock item indicates the stock item to be butchered. This is a required field.

  • Stock item indicates the stock item produced as a result of butchering. This is a required field.

  • Quantity is the quantity of the stock item produced as a result of butchering. This is a required field.

  • Unit (stock item) indicates the unit of measurement for the stock item produced as a result of butchering. This is a required field.

    For convenience, the name of this field is not displayed in the window. Please select a unit in the Select stock item unit of measurement window. By default, this field contains the value defined for this stock item in the Stock items directory.

  • Cost, % is the cost expressed as a percentage of the value of the raw item. This is a required field.

  • Comment is a brief description of the butchering item.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more butchering elements are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. The name of the editor window changes to Butchering items. A panel with a list of the selected elements is added to the window (names of corresponding butchered stock items will be specified in brackets).

The fields are similar to those in the Butchering item window.

The entry window is used to enter one or more stock items to the butchering instructions.

The New butchering item entry window is opened by using the Add command or by pasting one stock item to the butchering recipe from the clipboard.

The New butchering items entry window opens when more than one stock item is added to the butchering recipe from the clipboard. A panel with a list of the copied butchering instruction elements is added to the window, along with their corresponding stock items to be butchered, which are specified in brackets.
