Container type window

Windows used to manage container types:

All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the Weight panel.

The editor window is opened by using the Edit command in the context menu. From here, you edit attributes of one or more container types.

If one item is selected in the data grid, the Container type editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Stock item is the name of the stock item for which the container type is specified. This is a required field.

  • Name indicates the name of the container type. This is a required field.

  • Weight shows the weight of the container type. This value is expressed in grams. This is a required field.

    The unit of measurement used to determine the container weight is displayed next to the field in the viewing window.

  • Description is a brief description of the container type.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

  • Default defines whether this is the default container type for the stock item when it is included into a storage document. This is a required field.

    You can choose between: No and Yes. The Yes value is enabled if one container type is selected.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more container types are selected for editing, the multiple editor window opens. The name of the editor window changes to Container types. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the window.

The fields are similar to those in the Container type window.

The New container type entry window is opened by using the Add command. In this window, you can add a new container type to the specification.
