Save changes confirmation dialog
Save changes confirmation dialog

Save changes confirmation dialog is used to double-check whether the user wants to save the changes when he/she leaves a mode step.

The Save changes confirmation dialog contains:

  • a question with the icon;

  • the Save, Don't save and Cancel buttons.

If a keyboard is used to control the POS terminal used, the buttons also display numbers. By pressing one of these numbers on the keyboard, you can select the corresponding button on the screen.

The numbers that will appear on the buttons depend on their functions. The button with the positive answer (in this case - Save), always has the code 0. The button with the negative answer (in this case - Cancel), has the code 1. The order in which these buttons are located in the dialog window does not influence their numbering. The Don't save button always has the code 2.

If the keyboard is not used to control the POS terminal, the buttons in the dialog windows are not numbered.

To save changes, press Save. The confirmation dialog will close, and the POS terminal will return to the previous step.

If you want to leave this step without saving changes, press Don't save. The confirmation dialog will close, and the POS terminal will return to the previous step.

If you press Cancel, the program will not leave the current step. The confirmation dialog closes without carrying out any command.

If the horizontal screen size is to small to fit all dialog window buttons in one row, the vertical dialog window is used.
