The Filter settings panel is used to add filter steps to the promotion formula specification and to configure their settings. The filter is used for preliminary collection of data, which will be used for the calculation of discounts or markups.
The Filter settings panel data grid is composed of the following columns:
Name specifies the names of the filter wizard steps that will be used for preliminary data selection. This data is required for promotion formulas.
Form class is the name of the form class that corresponds to the filter step windows.
Caption shows the hint captions that will be displayed in filter step windows.
Caption header shows the hint caption headers that will be displayed in filter step windows.
Header contains filter parameter panel headers.
Required shows whether the filter wizard steps are required.
Index is a number that defines the sequence in which the filter wizard steps will be carried out.
Required selection is a flag to indicate whether the selection of values for filter parameters is mandatory for execution.
The context menu of the Filter settings panel contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds filter steps to the data grid in the filter settings panel.
(F2) – edits attributes of the existing filter steps in the data grid in the filter settings panel.
(Del) – permanently deletes filter steps from the data grid in the filter settings panel.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

To add a new filter step to the data grid of the Filter settings panel, use the entry window. To edit attributes, use the editor window.
When you delete filter steps from the data grid in the Filter settings panel, a confirm permanent deletion prompt appears.
