Menu types directory

The Menu types directory is used to manage menu types.

The directory is accessed via the main menu: MenuMenu types.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the menu type.

  • Description is a brief description of the menu type.

  • Security level denotes the security level assigned to the menu type or inherited by the menu type.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The directory context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new menu type.

  • Edit (F2) – edits the selected menu types.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes the selected menu types to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

New menu type and New menu types windows are used to add new menu types. Attributes of selected menu types can be editing using the Menu type or Menu types editor windows.

A confirm deletion prompt appears when you delete menu types from the directory.

The Select menu type window is used to access the directory from fields in other directories.
