Supported functionality panel

The Supported functionality panel is used to manage the functionalities supported by the software module.

A supported functionality determines the functions that can be performed by the devices under the control of this software module.

Data grid columns:

  • Functionality indicates the functionality supported by the software module.

  • Software module is the software module for which supported functionalities have been specified.

The context menu of the Supported functionality panel contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new software module functionality.

  • Edit / View (F2) – edits or displays attributes of software module functionalities.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes a software module functionality.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new functionality supported by the software module to the Supported functionality panel data grid, use the New supported functionality entry window. To edit attributes of supported functionalities, use the Supported functionality and Supported functionalities editor windows. To view attributes of inherited supported functionalities, use the Supported functionality and Supported functionalities viewing windows.

When you delete supported functionalities from the data grid on the Supported functionality panel, a confirm permanent deletion prompt appears.

The Select functionality window is used to select a functionality supported by the software module.
