The
directory is used to manage software modules (executable files, repositories, code charts, and other files).Location of the directory:
– – .Data grid columns:
Name indicates the name of the software module.
Description is a brief description of the software module.
Type indicates the software module type.
File denotes the name of the file where the software module is stored.
File date designates the date when the software module was added to the system. The file generation date is set automatically.
File version is the software module file version.
Interface denotes the interface supported by the software module.
Reports shows whether a report can be opened from the software module.
Based on specifies the software module based on which the current software module was created.
Security level indicates the security level assigned to the software module.
System is a tag identifying system objects.
The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a new software module to the directory.
– creates a software module using attributes of an existing software module.
This command is only available if you select one software module.
(F2) – edits software modules.
(Del) – deletes software modules from the directory to the .
– opens a window to view a list of software modules that require the selected software module in order to operate.
– opens a window to view a list of software modules that are connected to the selected software module.
– menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
To add new software modules, use the and entry windows. To edit attributes of software modules, use the and editor windows.
When you delete software modules from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears.
To open the directory from windows of other directories, use the window.
