Clipboard panel in the Report window

Using the clipboard, you can add information from the report to the document lists or directories. The list of object types that can be copied to the clipboard is displayed on the Clipboard panel.

If the specification is not filled out, you will not be able to copy information from the report using the clipboard.

The Clipboard panel data grid is composed of the following fields:

  • Transferrable object type is the type of the objects that are added from the report to the clipboard.

  • Data set is the name of the report data set, the data from which will be added to the clipboard.

  • Index is the sequence order in which these data will be selected when they are copied to the clipboard.

  • Accessibility condition refers to the conditions under which the Clipboard submenu will be accessible in the context menu of the data grid containing data received from the query data set.

The Clipboard panel context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a transferrable object type.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of transferrable object types.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes transferrable object types from the report specification.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new transferrable object type to the report specification, use the New transferrable object type entry window. To edit function attributes, use the Transferrable object type window.

A confirm permanent deletion prompt appears when you delete transferrable object types from the report specification.
