Device loader start parameters

When you launch a device loader, you can specify one of the keys used for starting devices:

  • /run – runs the device loader as an application,

  • /start – starts the device loader as an MS Windows service,

  • /stop – uploads the application (stops the service),

  • /install – installs the service in the system,

  • /uninstall – deletes the service from the system.

Note

For an easy start and finish of the program, we recommend creating two shortcuts for the TPDevLoader.exe program on your desktop: (TPDevLoader.exe RUN and TPDevLoader.exe STOP) .

After the first launch of the device loader, some files will be downloaded from the server and stored in the POS work folder. These files are required for normal operation of Tillypad XL POS.

Further operations on POS configuration are carried out in Tillypad XL Manager.
