This guide is intended for use when configuring a POS terminal (point of sale) and putting it into operation.

The manual describes how to configure the POS ‘from scratch’, when the directories of Tillypad XL Manager have not yet been populated and contain only system objects.

As an example, a detailed description of two restaurant points of sale equipped with POS terminals (which serve as work stations for bartenders and waiters) is provided.

As an express example, a simple setup process for one POS terminal in a fast food venue is also described.
