Deletions from orders (with stock deduction)

Deletions from orders (with stock deduction)

When a user takes orders at the POS terminal, situations may arise where it is necessary to delete (void) either a full order or several of its items. In some cases these operations require the deduction of stock items.

A reason must be specified for the deletion of each order item. The list of possible reasons is specified in the Reasons for restricted POS terminal operations directory. If stock items are to be deducted, the specified reason must be marked with Stock adjustment. Stock items are deducted according to a recipe mode, which denotes whether to deduct a dish as a whole or by its ingredients.

When stock items are deleted through stock deduction, they are deducted as if they have been sold as usual. The stock items associated with menu items deleted from orders are included into sales records.

The Deletions from orders (with stock deduction) operational report displays a list of menu items that have been deleted from orders at POS terminals with accompanying deduction of stock.

The Deletions from orders (with stock deduction) operational report only displays menu items that have been deleted in Tillypad XL POS. Items deleted in Tillypad XL Manager are not included in this operational report.
