When a user takes orders at the POS terminal, situations may arise where it is necessary to delete (void) either a full order or several of its items. In some cases these operations require the deduction of stock items.
A reason must be specified for the deletion of each order item. The list of possible reasons is specified in the directory. If stock items are to be deducted, the specified reason must be marked with Stock adjustment. Stock items are deducted according to a recipe mode, which denotes whether to deduct a dish as a whole or by its ingredients.
When stock items are deleted through stock deduction, they are deducted as if they have been sold as usual. The stock items associated with menu items deleted from orders are included into sales records.
The operational report displays a list of menu items that have been deleted from orders at POS terminals with accompanying deduction of stock.
