The Tillydroid app allows you to use an Android tablet as a POS terminal with a limited functionality. Tillydroid creates a local database. This way, Tillydroid can work without a constant connection to the segment server.

When the mobile POS terminal connects to the segment server, data on the local tablet database and the segment database are synchronised. From the segment server, the tablet receives information about menu changes, price schedules, discounts, and connected device settings. The tablet also sends sales information to the server. The information about the stop list is transmitted both to and from the tablet.

All sales in Tillydroid are carried out on a separate business day. This business day is opened and closed on the tablet and is not connected to the business day of the division.

The tablet with the Tillydroid app can control additional devices connected to a PC.
