Adding items to the stop list

You can add a new menu item or a copy of the existing stop list item to the stop list.

Adding a new item to the stop list

To add a menu item to the stop list, indicate it the data grid with menu items and groups.

Additional information

To add an item to the stop list, you can do one of the following actions:

  • press the key to select a menu item on the keyboard connected to the POS terminal;

  • enter the ID of the menu item (for example, by scanning its barcode);

  • enter the selection code assigned to the menu item.

The item will be added to the stop list without being connected to any specific POS terminal. At the same time, it will become unavailable on all POS terminals in a given division.

Save changes made to the stop list.

Adding a copy of the item to the stop list

To add a copy of an existing item to the stop list, use the Add command from the stop list context menu.

A window will open where you can select a POS terminal or a division. The name of the division appears last in this selection window. If a POS terminal is selected, the menu item will be unavailable for selection on this POS terminal only. If a division is selected, the item will be unavailable on all POS terminals of the division.

The names of the selected POS terminal or division are indicated in the stop list data grid.

Save changes made to the stop list.

Adding a copy of an item to the list and making it unavailable on all POS terminals is useful when a certain item must constantly be in the stop list of a specific POS terminal. If this item must temporarily become unavailable on all POS terminals, you can just add its copy to the list and select the name of the division. When this will no longer be necessary, you can just delete the stop list item that makes the menu item unavailable on all POS terminals.
