Guest tab points operation window

The following windows are used when working with points operations in the guest tab specification:

The Guest tab points operation and Guest tab points operations viewing windows are used for viewing points operations in closed guest tab specifications.

All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the guest tab points operation specification (in the Points operations panel).

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more guest tab points operations.

If one item is selected in the specification, the Guest tab points operation editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Guest tab is the guest tab, to the specification of which the points operation is being added. This is a required field.

  • Point type is the point type used in the points operation. This is a required field.

Please select a point type in the Select point type window.

  • Name is the guest tab points operation. This is a required field.

  • Number of points denotes the number of points. This is a required field.

To subtract points, enter a negative value using the minus sign (-). To add points, enter a positive value using the plus sign (+).

  • Deposit type designates the method of adding points. This is a required field.

You can select one of the following options: Regular customer points, Additional, and New.

The Regular customer points option saves the points operation in the system; the client authorisation device adds saved points to the guest tab, and each new visit adds additional points to the client's account.

If you choose the New option, the selected promotion formula transfers the points to the guest tab. Later the points will be added or deducted when calculating discounts according to the guest tab promotion category. If any changes are made to the guest tab, the points are deleted and recalculated. The points type determines whether points are saved in the system when closing the guest tab (if they have the Cumulative tag) or are taken into account during the current visit with further deletion from the system when closing the guest tab (if the Cumulative tag is not set).

The Additional option is reserved. It allows you to create additional points operations.

  • Description is a brief text description of the points operation.

Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.
