Payment method groups directory

The Payment method groups directory is used to manage payment method groups.

Location of the directory: SalesDirectoriesPayment method groups.

Data grid columns:

  • Name indicates the name of the payment method group.

  • Description is a text description of the payment method group.

  • Index shows the sequence in which payment method groups are displayed on the POS terminal.

  • Excluded from payment denotes that the payment method group is temporarily unavailable on the POS terminal.

  • Security level is the security level assigned to the payment method group.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menus of payment method groups contain the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a payment method group.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of payment method groups.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes payment method groups to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new payment method groups, use the New payment method group and New payment method groups entry windows. To edit attributes of payment method groups, use the Payment method group and Payment method groups editor windows.

When you delete payment method groups, a confirmation prompt appears. When a payment method group is deleted, all its nested payment methods are also deleted.

The Select payment method group window allows you to access groups from window fields.
