Payment method group window

Access panel in the Payment method group window

Windows used to manage payment method groups:

All of these windows are opened from the Payment methods directory data grid or from the Payment method groups directory data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more payment method groups.

If one group is selected in the data grid, the Payment method group editor window opens.

The window is composed of the Properties and Access panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Name indicates the name of the payment method group. This is a required field.

  • Description is a text description of the payment method group.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

  • Excluded from payment denotes that the payment method group has been disabled. This is a required field.

    Please choose between No and Yes.

    If you select No, the payment method group will become available on the POS terminal.

    Selecting Yes will disable the payment method group and its payment methods. They will not be displayed on the POS terminal and cannot be used for settlements.

  • Index determines the sequence in which payment method groups are displayed on the POS terminal.

    By default, a new payment method is given the highest index number. The default value can be edited if the sequence of payment method groups must be changed in the Select payment method group data grid on the POS terminal.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The editor window for multiple payment method groups opens if two or more payment method groups are selected in the data grid. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the editor window, and the name of the window changes to Payment method groups.

The fields are similar to those in the Payment method group editor window.

The entry window allows you to enter one or more new payment method groups into the directory.

You can open the New payment method group entry window by using the Add group command from the Payment methods directory data grid or by using the Add command from the Payment method groups directory data grid. Alternatively, you can open this entry window by pasting one group from the clipboard.

The New payment method groups entry window opens if two or more payment method groups are pasted from the clipboard to the Payment method groups directory.
