Table type window

Windows used for managing directory contents:

All of these windows are opened from the Table types directory data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more table types.

If one table type is selected in the data grid of the viewing window, the Table type editor window opens. The window contains the Properties , Access , and Specification panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Name designates the name of the table type. This is a required field.

  • Description is a text description of the table type.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple table types editor window opens if two or more items are selected for editing in the data grid. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the window, and the name of the window changes to Table types.

The panels and fields are similar to those in the Table type editor window.

The entry window is used to add one or more new table types to the directory.

You can open the New table type entry window by using the Add command or by pasting one table type from the clipboard.
