Model panel in the Report window

The Model panel allows you to choose which fields will be visible in the report data grid. Additionally, it enables you to configure the necessary settings to display data sets in tree list form.

Each data set has its own panel.

The Model panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Visible indicates whether to display panels with the data that were received from the query data set in the report viewing window. This is a required field.

You can choose between Yes and No. Selecting Yes will make a panel containing a data grid populated by the data set appear in the report viewing window, whereas selecting No will hide this panel.

  • Panel name is the name of the panel in the report viewing window that corresponds to the name of the query data set.

  • Tree view indicates whether query data set results can be displayed in a tree structure.

Please choose between Yes and No. If you select Yes, the following fields will become available: Key field and Parent field.

  • Parent field is a field containing a link to the parent element of the data set returned by the query. This value is selected from the drop-down lists that are returned when the data set from the query is filled in.
