Additional parameter window

Windows used to manage additional device parameters in the device specification:

All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the data grid in the Additional parameters panel.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more additional device parameters.

If one item is selected in the specification table, the Additional parameter editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Device indicates the device for which the additional parameter is used. This is a required field.

  • Additional device parameter is an additional device parameter added to the device specification. This is a required field.

    You can select a parameter in the Select additional device parameters window.

  • Index is the sequence order in which the additional device parameters are used.

    By default the highest index is assigned to a new item. The additional parameter with the lowest Index value is the first one used for this device after its primary parameters.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple additional parameters editor window opens if two or more items are selected for editing. The name of the editor window changes to Additional parameters. A panel with a list of the selected additional parameters is added to the window; the names of their corresponding devices are specified in brackets.

The fields are similar to those in the Additional parameter window.

You can open the New additional parameter entry window by using the Add command. In this window, you can add a new additional parameter to the device specification.
