Groups are used to combine stock item units of measurement. Using recalculation ratios, they can be converted from one into another if the quantity of a stock item is specified. For example, it is convenient to register vegetables in stores using kilograms
, but when preparing dishes it makes more sense to measure vegetables in grams.
Both of these units must belong to the same group.
The
directory is used to manage unit of measurement groups.Location of the directory window:

Name is the name of the unit of measurement group.
Description is a description of the group.
Security level is the security level assigned to the group.
System is a tag identifying system objects.
The context menu contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a new unit of measurement group.
(F2) – edits the selected unit of measurement groups.
(Del) – deletes the selected unit of measurement groups to the .
– menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
In order to add new groups to the directory, use the and windows. The and editor windows are used to edit groups.
The confirm deletion prompt is used when you delete unit of measurement groups. When a unit of measurement group is deleted, all units of measurement contained in it are also deleted.
The window is used to select unit of measurement groups from fields in other windows.
