Modes of pasting from the clipboard to the Menu directory

Menu items, groups, and modifiers can be copied to the clipboard and then pasted to the Menu directory. Copied menu groups can also be pasted in the Menu groups directory.

Similar operations can be performed on draft menu groups, draft menu items, and draft modifiers in the Draft menu directory, and additionally on draft menu groups in the Draft menu groups directory.

To copy items to the clipboard you can only select objects of the same type: menu groups, menu items, or modifiers. If you select objects of different types, the Copy command will become unavailable in the Clipboard menu.

Menu items can be pasted from the clipboard as copies of existing items (new independent items) or as shortcuts of the copied items. Therefore, when you paste one or more menu items from the clipboard, the Select paste mode will open prompting you to make a choice.

Menu groups can only be pasted as copies of the existing objects; however, the Select paste mode window still opens.

When you paste modifiers from the clipboard, the Select paste mode window does not appear.
