Supported functionality window

Windows used to manage supported functionalities in the software module specification:

All of these windows are opened from the data grid of the Software module supported functionalities specification.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more functionalities supported by the software module.

If one specification item is selected in the data grid, the Supported functionality editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Software module indicates the software module that supports this functionality. This is a required field.

  • Functionality indicates the functionality supported by the software module. This is a required field.

    Please select a functionality in the Select functionality window.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple specification items editor window opens if two or more entries are selected for editing. The name of the editor window changes to Supported functionalities. A panel displaying the list of the selected items is added to the editor window. The associated software modules appear in brackets.

The fields are similar to those in the Supported functionality window.

You can open the New supported functionality entry window by using the Add command. In this window, you can add a new element to the supported functionalities specification.

Supported functionalities of all inherited software modules are automatically added to the software module specification. The names of inherited supported functionalities are displayed in the specification in green. These forms are read-only within the specification. You can view attributes of one or more inherited supported functionalities in the viewing window.

If one inherited supported functionality is selected in the data grid, the Supported functionality viewing window opens.

Selecting Close will close the viewing window.

If two or more inherited supported functionalities are selected in the data grid, the Supported functionalities viewing window opens.
