Windows for managing additional devices used by the main device:
All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the additional device specifications.
The editor window is opened by using the command. From here, you can edit one or more connected device roles.
If one item is selected, the window opens.
The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Device indicates the name of the main device that uses the additional device. This is a required field.
Header denotes the role of the connected device. This is a required field.
Connected device designates the additional device used by the main device. This is a required field.
Please select a device in the window from a list of devices that can be used as additional devices.
Click to save data. Selecting will save data without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving data.
The software module used for controlling the primary device determines which additional panels can appear in the connected device window. For example, for an additional customer display, a panel appears containing fields that allow you to choose formats of displayed messages.
The additional printer receives a panel with fields that allow you to select print formats for this device.
The window opens if two or more additional devices are selected from the specification. A panel with a list of the selected additional devices is added to the window. Their main devices are specified in brackets.
The panels and fields are similar to those in the window.
You can open the entry window by using the command. From here, you can add a new additional device to the specification.
