The Day types panel is used to configure the day types for sales rules. It contains a list of day types on which the sales rule will apply:

Data grid columns:

Sales rule indicates the sales rule for which settings are configured.
Day type denotes the day type that is included into the sales rule specification. The sales rule in question will apply on the days of this type.
Index denotes the sequence in which sales rules apply for a given day type.

Context menu commands:

Add (Ins) – adds a day type to the sales rule specification.
Edit (F2) – edits day types in the sales rule specification.
Delete (Del) – permanently deletes items from the data grid of day types for sales rules.
Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.
Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new item to the data grid of day types for sales rules, use the New day type for sales rule entry window. To edit attributes, use the Day type for sales rule or Day types for sales rules editor windows.

When you delete items from the data grid containing day types for sales rules, a confirm permanent deletion prompt appears.
