Sort data grid items

Sort data grid items

Sorting allows you to display the data grid items based on the criteria you set for one attribute. Data grid items can be sorted in ascending or descending order.

To sort values in a column, click on the column header. An arrow will appear on the highlighted header pointing in the direction of the sorting order. The first mouse click will produce an upward arrow (ascending sort). The second mouse click will produce a downward arrow (descending sort).

By simultaneously pressing Shift and left-clicking, you can sort the data grid by two or more attributes. In this case, the values in the first of the selected columns will be sorted first; then the sorting will apply to the second column etc. At the same time, numbers appear next to the sorting arrows. These numbers designate the order in which columns are sorted, for example, .

The results of sorting data grid columns are saved even when you close the window (in the window model). When you reopen it, the sorting will remain the same. These settings are also stored when you exit the system and then log in again as the same user.
