Opening guest tabs

To open a guest tab, scan the client's ID. This will open a list of his/her guest tabs.

The line may contain some additional information about the new guest tab, e.g. the regular customer’s surname and initials or the name of the promotion category assigned to the guest tab.

If you scan two or more IDs one after another, the data grid will display guest tabs opened for all of the selected customers.

At this stage, the guest tab has not yet been added to the database and only exists on the POS terminal. Pressing Clear will cancel the guest tab. Use Club waiter mode to take orders from guests. To carry out more operations on the new guest tab in this mode, you must first submit it.

Before submitting the guest tab, you can add menu items (dishes, goods, simple services, or prepaid credits) to it.

Adding a menu item to a guest tab

To add a menu item to a new order, select a guest tab from the data grid and use the Edit command.

As a result, a guest tab editor screen will open.

To add a menu item to an order, select the item from the menu data grid.

If the sales parameter of the selected menu item does not allow editing, the selected item will automatically be added to the order. An order is created automatically if the guest tab has no open orders.

If the sales parameter of the menu item allows editing, an order specification item editor window will open. Fill in the fields.

To close the editor window without adding the item to the order, press Cancel. To add the menu item to the order, press OK or Enter. The editor window will close, and the menu item will be added to the order.

An order was created in the guest tab. The specification of this order contains the selected menu item. The Item column displays the number of portions of the menu item included into the order, as well as the menu item's name and unit of measurement. The bottom line shows the price of the menu item.

You can also add prepaid credits to the order in the same way.

The Item column displays the prepaid credit item name. In this case, the bottom line will display: the price of the menu item added to the order, the debt total (equal to the prepaid credits amount), and the total due.

To continue, the user can either submit or pay the guest tab.
