The Promotion category authorisation device parameters directory is used to manage promotion category authorisation device parameters, which link promotion categories and point types of external system clients with promotion categories and point types in Tillypad XL.

Location of the directory: Devices – Directories – Promotion category authorisation device parameters.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the promotion category authorisation device parameter.

  • Description is a brief description of the promotion category authorisation device parameter.

  • Security level is the security level assigned to the promotion category authorisation device parameter.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new promotion category authorisation device parameter to the directory.

  • Edit (F2) – edits the promotion category authorisation device parameter.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes promotion category authorisation device parameters from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new items to the directory, use the New promotion category authorisation device parameter and New promotion category authorisation device parameters entry windows. To edit parameter attributes, use the Promotion category authorisation devices parameter or Promotion category authorisation device parameters editor windows.

To open the directory from windows of other directories, use the Select parameter of the promotion category authorisation device window.

When you delete items from the Promotion category authorisation device parameters directory, a confirmation prompt appears.
