Parameters panel in the Device window

The Parameters panel is used to describe the primary parameters of a device.

The panel contains a multiline text box where you can enter data for the INI file. The field is populated automatically with data received from the Software modules directory.

In this field you can add or edit device parameters and define parameter values that will overwrite those inherited from the software module.

Note

If this device requires additional parameters, you can either enter them manually by adding them to the primary parameters on the panel or navigate to the Additional parameters panel and select them from the Additional device parameters directory.
