The Document prefix panel is used for entering a prefix to be automatically added to numbers of documents created in the division.
The Document prefix panel is composed of one field:
Document prefix is the text code to be added to the document reference number to denote a division.
To automatically add a prefix to the document number, please select the required format for the selected document type in the
directory. When creating a document number format in the
directory, use the
dnf_GetDivisionSignature
procedure in SQL queries to retrieve division prefixes.
