Keyboard shortcut action types directory

The Keyboard shortcut action types directory is used to manage the shortcut action types that execute operations by means of keyboard keys.

Location of the directory: Devices - Directories - Keyboard shortcut action types.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the keyboard shortcut action type.

  • Description is a brief description of the keyboard shortcut action type.

  • Security level indicates the security level assigned to the keyboard shortcut action type.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new keyboard shortcut action type to the directory.

  • Edit (F2) – edits shortcut action types.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes keyboard shortcut action types from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new items to the directory, please use the New keyboard shortcut action type and New keyboard shortcut action types entry windows. To edit attributes, use the Keyboard shortcut action type or Keyboard shortcut action type editor windows.

When you delete items from the Keyboard shortcut action types directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

To select a shortcut action type, use the Select keyboard shortcut action type window.
