Payment method denominations are child items of payment methods. Each payment method denomination matches one note or coin of the currency in use.
Windows used to manage payment method denominations:
All of these windows are opened from the directory data grid.
You can open the editor window by using the command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more payment method denominations.
If one payment method denomination is selected in the data grid, the editor window opens.
The window contains the Properties and Picture panels.
The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Payment method is the payment method to which the payment method denomination belongs. This field can only be edited in the entry window.
Name indicates the name of the payment method denomination. This is a required field.
This name is used for selecting payment method denominations on POS terminals.
Total is the tendered amount associated with this payment method denomination.
On-screen button format denotes the format that is used to select a payment method denomination in the software module screen form settings.
Index indicates the sequence order in which payment method denominations are displayed on the POS terminal.
By default, a new payment method is given the highest index number. The default value can be edited if the sequence of payment method denominations needs to be changed in the run screen data grid or in the Select payment method denomination data grid on the POS terminal.
Click to save data. Selecting will save data without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving data.
The editor window for multiple payment method denominations opens if two or more entries are selected in the data grid. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the window, and the name of the window changes to .
The fields are similar to those in the editor window.
You can open the entry window by using the command or by pasting one payment method from the clipboard. In this window, you can add a new payment method denomination to the directory.
