Access setting by user role window

The following windows are used to manage access settings by user role:

All of these windows are opened from the Access settings panel data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more access settings by user role.

If one entry is selected in the data grid, the Access setting by user role editor window opens:

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • User role is the user role for which you are customising access settings. This is a required field.

  • Employee privilege set is the employee privilege included in the access setting by user role. This is a required field.

    Please select an employee privilege from the Select employee privilege set window.

  • Security level indicates the security level included in the access setting by user role.

    Please select a level in the Select security level window.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

If two or more entries are selected in the data grid, the multiple editor window opens. The name of the window changes to Access settings by user role. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the window. Associated security levels are specified in brackets:

The fields are similar to those in the Access setting by user role window.

The entry window allows you to add one or more access settings by user role to the specification.

You can open the New access setting by user role entry window by using the Add command or by pasting an item from the clipboard to the specification.

The New access settings by user role entry window opens if two or more access settings by user role are pasted from the clipboard.
