Working in Reservations mode

Working in Reservations mode

Reservations mode displays information about reservations for past and future special events. In this mode, orders and prepayments can be entered for large reserved events, and final reservation payments can be made.

When a customer makes a reservation for a special event, the employee fills in the reservation window, where he/she enters information about the customer, the time and location of the event, the number of guests, and any additional information needed to prepare for the event. The employee then fills in the order and receives a deposit.

During preparation for the event, its guest tab and orders can only be viewed and edited in Reservations mode. Changes can be made to the tab and the orders it contains in this mode.

Service of the reserved event begins when an employee of the division executes the Start service command in Reservations mode. After the reservation is moved from preparation to service start, order tickets begin printing in the kitchen. The reservation tab receives the Open status, and its orders receive the Submitted status. Employees can then add new orders to the guest tab in Restaurant waiter mode.

After the event is finished, final settlement of the bill is carried out with the customer. The reservation can be paid for in Reservations mode, Restaurant cashier mode, or Club cashier mode.
