Every hospitality-oriented enterprise includes some kind of table where customers are offered services. Here, table is used as a general term and can refer to restaurant tables, cinema chairs, bowling lanes etc. (depending on the specifics of your business). Tables that possess similar characteristics are described in the system via table types.

Each table type has a list of possible states (vacant, occupied with my guest tabs, occupied with someone else's guest tabs, guest tabs in payment, someone else's guest tabs in payment). For your convenience, tables and their types and statuses are illustrated graphically on the POS terminal.

Table types are managed in the Table types directory.

When the system is installed, the directory contains the following system table types: Tillypad XL table and Tillypad XL Billiards. Other table types can be created and edited by users.
