A new operational report, Menu items by stock item, was added.

The Menu section is used to manage the list of goods and services that are available for sale to customers. In Tillypad XL, this list is called the menu.

The Menu section is used for creating a menu and configuring settings to enable the sale of menu items at the points of sale. In Tillypad XL, only the goods and services that are part of the menu can be added to orders.

Therefore, you need to add everything that will be offered to customers to the menu and indicate the prices and terms of sale. This includes not only the dishes from the menu but also bought-in goods, services, and prepaid credits. All these goods, services, and prepaid credits are called menu items.

In the Menu section, you can create and edit the menu, which will appear at the points of sale. For a menu item, you can specify:

  • what kind of goods it is and whether stock items are deducted from store when this menu item is sold (or whether it is a service or a prepaid credit),

  • how it is sold,

  • its price and how it changes depending on the time of sale or service duration,

  • at what time it can be sold.

If two or more venues are joined into a chain, these venues use the same menu. In the Menu section, you can configure the menu settings to determine which menu items will be offered at a given point of sale.

In this section, you can carry out the following operations: quickly enable and disable menu items in the menu, create new items based on those that already exist in the menu, apply price schedules for flexible pricing, as well as prepare menu changes and activate them.

The Menu section directories should be populated with data at the preliminary stage before you begin working with the system. Later, users can make changes and add data to the directories.

The directories and operational reports of this section are opened from the Menu menu in the program main menu.
