Additional parameter window

Windows used to manage additional device parameters in device specification:

Additional parameter and Additional parameters editor windows,
New additional parameter entry window.

All these windows are opened from the context menu in the Additional parameters panel of the data grid.

You can open the editor window using the Edit command and modify attributes of one or more additional device parameters.

If one item is selected in the specification table, the Additional parameter editor window will open:

Window fields:

Device is a device for which an additional parameter is specified. This is a required field.
Additional device parameter is an additional device parameter added to the device specification. This is a required field.
You can select a parameter in the Select additional device parameters window.
Index is the sequence order in which the additional device parameters are used.
By default the next to the highest index is assigned to a new item. Additional parameter with the least Index value is used first for this devices after its primary parameters.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The multiple additional parameters editor window opens if two or more items were selected for editing. The name of the window changes to Additional parameters. A panel with a list of the selected additional parameters is added to the window. The names of corresponding devices are specified in brackets.

The fields are similar to the Additional parameter window.

You can open the entry window using the Add command and add a new additional parameter to the device specification.
