Each company, whose information is stored in the Companies directory, must belong to a company group. The companies can be joined into groups by any criteria convenient for the user.

Each group of companies can contain other company groups. A company group containing other subgroups is a parent group for nested groups (child groups).

A collapsible list of company groups is displayed in the Companies and Company groups directories. Company groups are made available in viewing windows in the form of a tabular tree.

Changes made in the Company groups directory become available in the Companies directory, and vice versa.
