Specification panel in the Auto-order window

The Specification panel is used to enter the details of the auto-order. It contains a data grid with a list of the menu items included into the auto-order.

Data grid columns:

  • Auto-order designates the name of the auto-order.

  • Auto-order item indicates the menu item that is included into the auto-order.

  • Quantity is the quantity of the menu item.

  • Unit (menu) is the menu unit of measurement that is used to record the menu items included into the auto-order.

  • Number of portions denotes the number of portions of the menu item included into the auto-order.

  • Price is the price of the specification item.

  • Total is the amount due for the selected number of menu items included into the auto-order.

  • Index determines the sequence in which items are listed in the menu on POS terminals.

  • Menu group is the menu group containing the item of the auto-order.

The panel context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a menu item to the auto-order specification.

  • Edit (F2) – edits menu items in the auto-order specification.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes menu items from the auto-order specification.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new item to the auto-order specification, use the New auto-order item entry window. To edit attributes of the auto-order specification items, use the Auto-order item and Auto-order items editor windows.

A confirm permanent deletion prompt appears when you delete items from the auto-order specification.
