The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Auto-order is the auto-order to which a menu item is added. This is a required field.

  • Auto-order item indicates the item added to the auto-order from the menu. This is a required field.

Please select a menu item in the Select menu item window.

  • Quantity is the quantity of the auto-order item. This is a required field.

The field contains a drop-down list with two options: Quantity from menu and Enter value. Selecting Quantity from menu will automatically populate the field with the value from the Menu directory. Selecting Enter value will allow you to enter the required quantity.

  • Unit (menu) is the menu unit of measurement. For convenience, the name of this field is not displayed in the window. This field is read-only.

It contains the value defined for this menu item in the Menu directory.

  • Number of portions is the number of portions of the selected auto-order item. This is a required field.

The default value is 1, i.e. one portion of the menu item.

  • Price is the price for the specified quantity of the auto-order item without discounts or markups. This field is read-only.

It equals the product of the auto-order item quantity and the menu item price as it is specified in the Menu directory.

  • Total is the amount due for the selected number of portions of the auto-order item. This field is read-only.

It equals the product of the auto-order item price (Price field) and the number of items included in the auto-order (Number of portions field).

  • Index indicates the sequence in which the auto-order items will be positioned on the POS terminal screen.

By default, a new item is given the highest index number. The default value can be edited if the sequence of objects must be changed on the run screen and in the selection data grid on the POS terminal.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The editor window for multiple auto-order specification items opens if two or more entries are selected in the data grid.

The name of the window changes to Auto-order items. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the window. Their corresponding auto-orders are specified in brackets.

The fields are similar to those in the Auto-order item editor window.

You can open the New auto-order item entry window by using the Add command. From there, you can add a new menu item to the auto-order specification.
