Filter step window

Windows used for managing filter steps:

All of these windows are opened from the context menu in the Filter settings panel data grid.

You can open the Filter step editor window using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one filter wizard step.

The window is composed of the Properties , Input parameters , Output parameters , and Additional panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Filter step is the filter wizard step used for selecting preliminary data for reports. This is a required field.

    In the editor window, the Filter step field is read-only.

    Please select a step from the Select filter step window in the New filter step entry window.

  • Header is the header of the filter step parameter panel.

  • Required denotes whether the filter wizard step is required. This is a required field.

    You can choose between Yes and No. Selecting Yes will make the filter wizard step required. If you select No, you will be able to determine whether to run this filter wizard step.

  • Caption header is the header of the caption in the filter wizard window.

  • Caption is the caption message displayed in the filter wizard step window.

  • Required selection indicates whether you are required to make a selection in the filter wizard step. This is a required field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

You can open the New filter step entry window using the Add command. From there, you can add a new filter wizard step to the directory.

In the editor window, the Filter step field is read-only. Please select a filter step in the Select filter step window. This is a required field.

The Input parameters , Output parameters , and Additional panels are added to the entry window depending on the selected filter wizard step.

The remaining fields are similar to those in the Filter step window.

The viewing window allows you to familiarize yourself with read-only filter step attributes.

Selecting Close will close the viewing window.
