Surveillance object window

Windows used to manage surveillance objects in the device specification:

All of these windows are opened from the Surveillance objects panel data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more surveillance objects included in the device specification.

If one item is selected in the data grid, the Surveillance object editor window opens.

Window fields:

  • Device indicates the device to which the surveillance object belongs. This is a required field.

  • Surveillance object type denotes the surveillance object type. This is a required field.

    You can choose between Device and Table.

  • Surveillance object is the object under surveillance. This is a required field.

    If the Surveillance object type field displays the Table value, surveillance objects are selected in the Select table window; if the field displays the Device value, they are selected in the Select device window.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

If two or more entries are selected in the data grid, the multiple surveillance objects editor window opens. The name of the editor window changes to Surveillance objects. A panel with a list of the selected surveillance objects is added to the window. The names of the devices that correspond to each object are specified in brackets.

The fields are similar to those in the Surveillance object window.

You can open the New surveillance object entry window by using the Add command. In this window, you can add a new surveillance object to the device specification.
