The Printers panel is utilised to control the printers in use at the point of service. On this panel, you can specify not only printers but also other devices that support the printer functionality, e.g. a GSM modem, as additional output devices.

The Printers panel contains the following fields:

  • Printer refers to the device used as the main printer on the POS terminal.

    You can select a device in the Select device window from among the devices that can be used as printers.

The data grid contains a list of additional printer displays that are used at the point of service along with the primary device.

Data grid columns:

  • Device indicates the POS terminal on which the additional printer is used.

  • Connected device denotes the additional printer.

  • Header designates the name of the connected device role.

The context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new additional printer to the specification.

  • Edit (F2) – edits additional printers.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes additional printers.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new additional printer to the specification, use the New connected device window. Additional printers can be edited in the Connected device and Connected devices windows.
