Sales department window

Windows used for managing directory contents:

All of these windows are opened from the Sales departments directory data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. From here, you can modify attributes of one or more sales departments.

If one sales department is selected in the data grid, the Sales department editor window opens.

The window is composed of the Properties and Access panels.

The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Name is the name of the sales department. This is a required field.

    The name of the sales department appears in sales records and is used to group data in reports.

  • Description is a brief text description of the sales department.

    Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

The editor window for multiple sales departments opens if two or more entries are selected in the data grid. A panel with a list of the selected items is added to the editor window. The name of the window changes to Sales departments.

The panels and fields are similar to those in the Sales department editor window.

The entry window allows you to enter one or more new sales departments to the directory.

You can open the New sales department entry window by using the Add command or by pasting one sales department from the clipboard.
