The Specification panel is used to enter specification data for planned cost records.

The Specification panel lists stock items for which planned costs are specified.

Data grid columns:

  • Stock item indicates the stock item included in the specification of the planned cost record.

  • Unit (stock item) is the unit of measurement for the stock item.

  • Cost price shows the planned cost price of the stock item.

  • Stock item group indicates the stock item group to which the stock item belongs.

  • Type denotes the stock item type to which the given stock item belongs.

  • Comment is a short comment.

  • Document is the number of the planned cost record to which the selected stock item belongs.

  • Status is the status of the planned cost record.

  • Index indicates the order in which stock items are included in the planned cost record.

  • Class is the class to which the stock item belongs.

The specification context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds an item to the specification of the planned cost record.

    This command is available only in specifications of planned cost records with the status Not ready.

  • Edit / View (F2) – edits or views items included in the specification of the planned cost record.

    The Edit command is available only in filled in specifications of planned cost records with the status Not ready. If the record has the status Ready, the Edit command is replaced with the View command.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes the selected stock items from the specification of the planned cost record.

    The Delete command is available only in filled in specifications of planned cost records with the status Not ready. If a record has the status Ready, the Delete command in the context menu is disabled.

  • Select from stock items – selects stock items from the Stock items directory to add them sequentially to the planned cost record specification.

    The Select from stock items command is added to the context menu of the specification of a planned cost record with the Not ready status.

  • Edit sequentially (Shift+F2) – edits planned cost record specification items in sequence without closing the editor window.

    The Edit sequentially command is available only in filled in specifications of planned cost records with the status Not ready. If a record has the status Ready, the Edit sequentially command in the context menu is disabled.

  • Stock movement – displays an operational report on movement of the selected stock items.

    The command is available only for filled in specifications of planned cost records, regardless of the records' current statuses.

  • Stock item turnover – opens an operational report on stock turnover of the selected stock items.

    The command is available only for filled in specifications of planned cost records, regardless of the records' current statuses.

  • Status – menu with the commands to alter the document status.

    When you select one or more documents with the same status, their current status will not be available in the context menu. When you select documents with different statuses, all possible statuses will be available in the context menu.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new items to the specifications of planned cost records, use the New planned cost record specification item and New planned cost record specification items entry windows.

The Planned cost record specification item and Planned cost record specification items editor windows are used for editing specification items. A sequential editor window (also named Planned cost record specification item ) can also be used.

The confirm permanent deletion prompt appears when you delete specification items from the planned cost record.

If a planned cost record has the status Ready, no changes can be made to its specification. In this case, the specification items become read-only, and the Edit command is replaced with the View command in the context menu.

When one or more specification items are selected, the Planned cost record specification item or Planned cost record specification items viewing window opens, respectively.
