The Document prefix panel is used to enter a textual or an alphanumerical code that can be used when generating numbers for documents created by the employee.
The Document prefix panel is composed of a single field:
Value is a code to be added to the document reference number to denote an employee.
Any value suitable for document numbers can be entered in this field to be added to documents that are generated by the employee.
To automatically add an employee prefix to the document number, select the required document number format for the selected document type in the
directory. When creating a document number format in the
directory, use the
dnf_GetUserSignature
procedure in SQL queries to retrieve employee prefixes.
