Employees directory

The Employees directory is used to manage details of Tillypad XL.

Location of the directory: AccessEmployees.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the employee.

  • Username indicates the username of the employee.

  • Description is a brief text description of the employee.

  • ID denotes the ID used by the employee.

    If an employee has two or more IDs, the system displays the phrase Multiple IDs.

  • User role designates the user role of the employee.

  • Inactive denotes that the employee's user account has been temporarily disabled.

  • Personal profile is the personal profile (employee's surname and initials).

  • Language pack is the language pack that contains a list of languages the employee can use when working with the software.

  • Easy login denotes that the employee can use the easy login mode when signing in to the system.

  • Quick selection code is a code used to quickly select the employee on the POS terminal.

  • Document prefix is a code used in document numbers to indicate the employee who created a document.

  • Security level denotes the security level assigned to the user.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds details of a new employee to the directory.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of the employees.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes the employee's details from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new employee's details, use the New employee and New employees entry windows. To edit an employee's details, use the Employee or Employees editor windows.

When you delete an employee's details from the Employees directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

The Select employee window is used to open the directory from windows of other directories.
