Data contained in the data grid can be saved to a table in the MS Excel (*.*.xml format). To do so, select the Save as... (Ctrl+S) command from the Additional functions menu.

Selecting the Save as... command opens the Document will be saved in file … window.

By default, the name of the file will be the name of the directory or list that contains the data grid in question, and the file type is that of Microsoft Excel (*.xml).

Pressing the Save button will save data to the ..xml file and open the MS Excel window that displays the saved data grid.
