Customers are served at points of service using POS terminals. These terminals allow you to perform the following operations:
Serve customers via different business approaches (fast food restaurant, traditional restaurant, club mode), offer discounts, arrange promotions, and accrue points.
Provide special benefits when serving regular customers, maintain personal accounts.
Quickly manage stop lists, which allow you to temporarily exclude menu items from sale.
Carry out different till operations: make payments and refunds using available payment methods (cash, non-cash), carry out cash-in and cash-out operations, and receive X-reports and Z-reports from fiscal registers.
Work with authorisation devices and fiscal registers, scales, timed service control devices, printers, barcode scanners and other peripheral equipment connected to the POS terminal; monitor states of tables and devices.
Create and edit collation reports for stocktaking records when running a partial stocktaking on stores.
Create stock movement records when transferring stock items between stores.
Change your password (for logging in to Tillypad XL POS).
Clock in and out to log working hours.
View and print reports.
Open and close business days in the division, work with guest tabs and bills.
The term POS terminal designates any device (PC, special-purpose computer, PDA, tablet, etc.
) on which the Tillypad XL POS program is started and running.
Tillypad XL POS is the front office part of the Tillypad XL automation system. It is used for serving clients and performing other operations at points of service. This program can be started on devices that use any of the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows, iOS or Android .
