The login window opens when you start Tillypad XL Manager or when you change the connection parameters.
Successful logins are stored in the TillypadManager.ini
file.
The window is composed of the Authorisation and Additional panels.
The Authorisation is displayed at all times.
The Authorisation panel is composed of the following fields:
User is the username of the employee.
By default, the User field displays the value present during the last successful connection to the database of the segment. If the TillypadManager.ini
file does not have any information about prior successful connections, the window is not populated by default.
Password is the password used by the employee.
Segment is the name of the segment on which the segment server application is started.
By default, the Segment field displays the value present during the last successful connection to the database of the segment. If the TillypadManager.ini
file does not have any information about prior successful connections, the window is not populated by default.
You can choose an entry from the previously selected segments in the drop-down list.
If all fields have been filled out correctly, pressing the
button will connect you to the database, update the application, and start the program. If the username, password, or name of the segment server has been specified incorrectly, an error icon will appear next to the faulty field.Pressing
will close the login window without connecting to the database of the server.To open the Additional panel, select the Open additional parameters command from the login window's context menu.
This will open the Additional panel.
The Additional panel is composed of the following fields:
Server indicates the network name or IP
address of the server on which the segment application server is set up.
By default, the Server field displays the value present during the last successful connection to the database of the segment. If the TillypadManager.ini
file does not have any information about prior successful connections, the window is not populated by default.
Port is the port number used to connect to the segment database.
By default, the Port field displays the value present during the last successful connection to the database of the segment. If the TillypadManager.ini
file does not have any information about prior successful connections, the window is not populated by default.
To close the Additional panel, select the Close additional parameters command from the login window's context menu.
