The Delivery panel is used to manage the attributes that appear when a customer's orders are made for delivery.

The Delivery panel is composed of the following fields:

  • Creation date marks the date and time when an order for delivery is created. This is a required field.

  • Actual delivery date is the date and time when the order is delivered to the customer.

    The actual delivery date should be later than the order creation date. If the actual delivery date is earlier than the creation date, an error message will appear.

  • Delivery type is the order delivery method. This is a required field.

    Please choose between: Courier delivery and Customer pickup. If the Courier delivery value is selected, ready orders are given to a courier for delivery to the customer's location. If Customer pickup is selected, the customer comes to pick up his/her order.

  • Preparation start indicates the start time for preparation of the dishes in the order. This is a required field.

  • Preparation time refers to the date and time when dishes from the order are prepared.

  • Time en route indicates the estimated delivery time of the order.

  • Courier is the courier assigned to deliver this order.

  • Confirmation required indicates whether confirmation is needed before the delivery order can be prepared. This is a required field.

    You can choose between Yes and No. If the Yes value is selected, dish prep begins only after the delivery order is confirmed. If No is selected, order preparation begins immediately after the order is taken.

  • Delivery status refers to the status of a guest tab created for delivery. This is a required field.

    You can choose from:

    • Waiting for preparation – the order has been taken, but dish prep has not yet been started.

    • Waiting for confirmation – the order has been taken, but the delivery has not yet been confirmed.

    • Preparation started – order prep has begun.

    • Ready, not sent – the order has been prepared but has not yet been sent to the courier for delivery.

    • En route – the order has been given to the courier and is en route to its delivery address.

    • Closed – the order has been received and paid for by the client.
